feb.25th Hey Bro, Ive been up to a lot of studying and flying around greater Vancouver. Being in these helicopters everyday is unreal and i am having way to much fun. Its a whole new way being in the mountains and a totally new perspective on everything out there. I cant wait to get into heli-skiing and really get to all that secret stuff. What else can i say, this is pretty much all i can think about and its taking up all my time. I still get to roll out and visit Tre on the weekends here and there. Still skateboarding. The abbotsford park is fun, it reminds me of the old Courtenay park if it was built right. Well Ill be in touch and will be flying back to the valley here in march. Take care Karl

Just thought id touch base again ended up 8th in tremblant. It was super fun deffintily hard compition and im heading to copper mountian in dever on monday for 5 days should be great fun haha. New flux bindings are awesome thank you sooo much!!!!!

I just got back from big white ended up 2nd and 7th on the second day after landing on my face haha. head to idaho on thursday... hopeing to enter in some slopstyle comps comein up in march i think thats about it for now.

Megan Chamberlin- im just emailing you to update you on what went on during the camp in whistler with the national team. It was an awesome time, I had loads of fun. It was a crazy 42 degrees up there, it was quite ridiculous haha, expecially hiking the pipe, most of us hiked in bathing suit tops and then put on our jackets. I also got to ride with and meet Natasha zuerek, it was wicked.
Im also going to be going to to Quebec sometime in the fall to do some dry land training with the National team with trampolines. and also a set up the national coach has at his home ... its somthing to do with learning proper edging control for pipe. It sounds pretty interesting. Theres also a good possiblility im going to be going to Japan with the team for a month in October to train in the indoor halfpipe they have there... which will be an adventure for sure.
But I hope your summer is going well, mine so far has been awesome. Worken my butt off to travel this winter haha. Well have a good one.










Aug. 10 - Good luck to karl and myles in the vancity down town rail jam this weekend. also check out carly and megan's interview in the echo newpaper. while megan's traveling all over western canada carly will be leaving this week for chile.

Hey just chillen in Calgary right now at COP competing in the Canadian Open, for pipe and slope, and the pipe here is freaken large a whole 22ft large. Also the weather is like a good 18 degrees, blue sky and slushy fake snow. Loven it. Last Provincial championship at Big White I came second for pipe and third for slopestyle, so pretty gnar. Cant wait for nationals at COP in a few weeks, going to be a blast in the so called "Super Duper Pipe" Wel im outies so catcha later

Pretty much shredden er all the time. Yah Im megs, just got back from Big White and came
3rd in the Canadian Open Tour in Slope Style, busten some pretty gnar tricks, super fun.
The top three scores were crazy close, and the contest was all around a blast! I can't wait
to head off to the Yukon for the Canadian Winter Games, gonna be a hoot! As soon as this
hip gets better, Im off playen around in the snow again.
