Jesse Berg has finally left courtenay for vernon (lumby), he is opening a new skateshop in the mainland and has moved onto a big 30acre property and also into a nice in-town condo. jesse has gown up here in the comox valley and has skated his whole life (and loving rockstar's and mexican food). i have been very fortunate to have known jesse and his family. i have seen him grow up from a little skate rat to now, an open minded individual who has even tought me to not worry so much about shit and just enjoy life (back-up-off-meee). jesse will always be onethirtythree and part of the family. -jaydee

June 14. T-Money was arrested at the party for some apparent reason, but still made the video premiere. stash has been injured for the last month stabbing his eyebrow with some kinda metal post while shooting a photo for color, we will be posting up the footy inside the hospital soon. stash is back to normal now without stiches and looks not too shaby. skategood prices have dropped once again for pro model decks $45-69 with free grip. no sign of a shop or blank decks. also, not confirmed, jaydee is working a deal with james and jesse to network onethirtythree as a westcoast "network brand" where selected skaters will be invited from vancouver, seattle, and cali. meaning, a number of riders from the states and a number of riders from canada will hang in cali for the winter and then vancity/vancouver island in the summer. basically flights, places to stay, new HD cameras with filmers, skate product and meet new people on the way, sweet deal. this will be separate from the store. the store and brand have signed onto itunes for podcast updates (date not confirmed) and the onethritythree network brand will have its own website launching soon. March 8 A day in the lab. Today in the lab my job was to extract the DNA from some tree buds. 90 tree buds to be exact. First I started off by placing some Polly–vinyl–polly-petrolatum (powder) into a test tube. Then I placed the bud in the test tube, next I dropped 120 micro litters of chelex solution into the tube. Finally I crushed the bud into the powder and solution mix with a pestul. When the bud was sufficiently crushed I heat the tube up to 65 degrees for 30 mins. Next I boiled the tube at 95 degrees. Then I span the DNA out. Now with the DNA at the top of the tube I extracted it with a perceptor and dropped it into a 10 times dillution.

Courtenay Park News Feb. 27 Today Some incredible shit went down at the park. I mean absolutley mind blowing. Shit Stain Shane was there leaping over some obstacles, and showing off his ability to spin the board underneath his feet.
